Abstract: The scientific report summarizes the results of a representative sociological survey of citizens conducted by RANEPA in 2020, which allows to identify an assessment of the effectiveness and efficiency of state control (supervision) from the perspective of the final beneficiaries. A comparison of the results obtained with the results of similar surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019 is presented. Based on the results of the study, recommendations are formulated to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state control (supervision), taking into account the position of citizens.
