Abstract:
The paper is based on the results of the researches that I have conducted during the PhD studies within "Carol I-st" National Defense University. The main idea promoted by this paper is the need for a radical change in the military education structure as a consequence of the NATO and Armed Foces transformation into knowledge based organizations. The aim of restructuring project is to save money by judicious use of time and human resources. This implies a serious downsizing of the military education institutions number and the rethinking their subordination and misions. Applying this model the military education system will become more coherent, cohesive, more flexible and with a high capacity of adaptation to the rapid training need deman.
