Abstract: Настоящий сборник посвящен теоретическим и практическим аспектам функционирования культурного сектора. Теоретические исследования сфокусированы вокруг трех основных тем: теоретического анализа «болезни цен», механизмов финансового обеспечения сферы культуры и результатов эмпирических исследований спроса на культурные блага. В рамках анализа проблем институциональной модернизации освещаются вопросы законодательного регулирования культурной деятельности, особенности функционирования отдельных сегментов культурного сектора (в частности, кинематографии, музейной и театральной деятельности), а также проблемы государственного регулирования в сфере культуры и выработки государственной культурной политики. Сборник предназначен для широкого круга читателей, интересующихся социально-экономическими проблемами культуры.

This book is dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of the arts and cultural activities. Theoretical research focuses on three main topics: a theoretical analysis of Baumol's cost disease, the mechanisms of financial support for the arts and culture and the results of empirical studies of demand for cultural goods. The issues of legal regulation of cultural activities, the features of the cultural sector (e.g: film industry, museum and theater activities) as well as the prospects of cultural policy are considered within the framework of institutional modernization. The book is intended for a wide range of readers, which are interested in the social and economic problems of the arts and culture.
