Abstract: In this paper, results about child poverty in Argentina estimated from a multidimensional perspective are presented and discussed. Using data from the Conglomerate Multiple Indicators Survey (MICS) and from the Permanent Household Survey (EPH), we compute various multidimensional indexes for the period 2011-2016. The most complete one summarizes 8 dimensions and 19 indicators. The conceptual framework of this study is the Right Human Approach, and the method Multiple Overlapping Deprivation Analysis (MODA) is used as a methodological tool of identification and aggregation. Besides, a deprivation matrix is built to provide an holistic definition of child welfare focuses on access to basic goods and services, crucial for children's survival and development.
