Abstract:
Emotional intelligence (EI) is pivotal in enhancing leadership communication, influencing team cohesion, conflict resolution, and decision-making processes. This paper examines the impact of key EI components—self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills—on effective leadership. Supported by literature and case studies, the findings demonstrate that emotionally intelligent leaders foster trust, mitigate conflicts, and inspire their teams, resulting in a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Integrating EI into leadership development is essential for cultivating these skills and enhancing organizational success.
