Abstract:
The fear of death is a central theme in existentialism, psychology, and theology, profoundly influencing human life. This article examines the fear of death from an existentialist perspective, incorporating the contributions of thinkers such as Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Sartre, Frankl, and Yalom. It also explores existential psychotherapy approaches and the role of spirituality in managing existential anxiety. Finally, the study discusses the impact of modern society on the perception of death, including distancing from death through technology and medical practices. The research highlights the importance of consciously confronting mortality to live an authentic and meaningful life.
