Corporate Social Responsibility development in Russia: Business attitude (on the example of the Corporate Charitable Activities in the North-Western Region)

Abstract: This working paper is about development in the corporate charitable activities in Russia as a part of corporate social responsibility. The paper is based on the author's research of charitable programs of the large companies in the North-Western region during 2005-2006. The main problems and tendencies in the regional corporate charitable policy were revealed. Finally, the paper proposes some recommendations in stimulating and improving corporate charitable activities in the region.
