Economic reforms and business environment: The case of China

Abstract:
The report analyzes the transformations that have taken place in China in the past 30 years, the growing influence of the Chinese economy in the world, the role that favorable business environment plays in the country's economic development, its rates and scales. Also the main components of business environment, influencing Chinese business competitiveness as low-cost labor force, political stability, consistency and predictability of the government policy, effect of Greater China, Confucian system of values are considered. Reforms in China differ from reforms in other countries - from the very beginning the economic space of the country was divided into separate parts, in order to realize special reform scenarios in each of them.
