Supply сhain management: Studying the concept in context of strategic management theory and the theory of marketing

Abstract: The paper researches basis one of the most dynamically developing concepts during past decade - the concept of supply chain management (SCM). It contains developing of the concept during past 20-25 years, preconditions of its developing. Developing of the SCM in context of evolution of the theory of strategic management and marketing is a field of particular interest in the paper. The analysis is given to relationships and trends in SCM and hypotheses about further development of SCM are made.
