The improvement in the labour market outcomes of recent immigrants since the mid-2010s

Abstract: This article presents updated analyses regarding the employment and earnings outcomes of recent immigrants. It also discusses factors that might influence these outcomes in the near term. In this article, recent immigrants refer to foreign-born individuals who became permanent residents in Canada within the past 10 years.
