Abstract: [TR] Bu notta Turk Bankacilik Sistemi’nin kredi ve mevduat piyasasinin yapisini gostermek amaciyla yogunlasma ve hakimiyet gostergeleri kredi ve mevduat turleri icin ayristirilarak hesaplanmistir. Gostergeler, kredi piyasasinin mevduat piyasasina gore daha fazla rekabetci oldugunu ima etmektedir. Kredi piyasasina iliskin sonuclar ozellikle ticari ve konut piyasasinda rekabetin daha yogun oldugunu gostermektedir. [EN] This note presents the concentration and dominance indicators with respect to deposit and credit types for Turkish Banking System for assessing the market structure of loans and deposits. These indicators suggest a more severe competition in the market for loans than the market for deposits. The results concerning the market for loans indicate a more intense competition in the market for commercial and housing loans.
