Economic conditions at school-leaving and self-employment

Abstract: In this study we use the National Longitudinal Survey of Youth 1979 to estimate the impact of economic conditions at school-leaving on self-employment at various points across the lifecourse. We find no evidence that the economic conditions at school-leaving affect self-employment.
