Abstract: In this paper I demonstrate that feminist poststructuralism offers economics a series of insights which are not available from other feminist positions. Such research is situated in what is still the disrespectable margin of the economics discipline, within the newly emerging field of 'feminist economics', and, even within feminist economics, it is situated at the periphery, in a subfield with few members of what may be termed "feminist post-structuralist economics".
