No 1997.13, Working Papers from School of Economics, La Trobe University

Abstract: This paper extends the empirical work of Wilson (1997) by estimating the determinants of migration between Australia's thirteen major statistical regions. An econometric model is estimated using aggregate data from the 1981-86 intercensal period and weighted least squares.
