Development Strategies and Law in Latin America: Argentine, Brazilian and Chilean Conditional Cash Transfer Programs in Comparative Perspective

Abstract: Working from the observation that Latin American countries are developing ideas related to the field of Law and Development, this paper seeks to analyze the development strategies undertaken to eliminate poverty and reduce inequality by Argentina, Brazil and Chile during the years 1991-2011. The emphasis is on the particular characteristics present in the articulation of the development policies labeled Conditional Cash Transfer Programs (CCTs).
