Abstract: L'istituzione dei commissari/difensori civici per l'infanzia è un fenomeno recente e ancora in espansione. La consapevolezza della necessità di istituire meccanisimi indipendenti di protezione e di promozione dei diritti dei bambini è progressivamente cresciuta in quanto è cresciuta la consapevolezza che essi rappresentano una categoria sociale particolarmente debole.
