Abstract: This work aims to provide a calculation methodology to quantify the incidence of Spanish ODA on childhood at the developing countries. The study is divided into two blocks. The first block explains the guiding axes from which the methodology has been developed and the specific criteria used to translate it. This methodology systematically calculates the portion of the Spanish aid disbursed in each cooperation intervention that can be considered to have an impact on childhood. The second block regards to the application of the previous methodology to the Spanish ODA disbursed in the years 2005, 2007 and 2009.
