LES PROBLEMES D'ENVIRONNEMENT DANS LE TIERS MONDE
Jean-Paul Harroy
ULB Institutional Repository from ULB -- Universite Libre de Bruxelles
Abstract:
The results of the environmental conferences held in Stockholm and Santiago in 1972 are reported and discussed with regard to how developmental and environmental problems are presently and will in the future affect the Third World countries. Supportive arguments are presented to illustrate that, on a political level, the present perspective used in dealing with the problems of Third World nations are misleading. The author attempts to delineate the social and economic bases of this misconception of Third World problems.
