Abstract:
This paper examines the main negative trends in environmental changes in the Arctic seas, caused primarily by global climatic processes, such as an increase in the temperature of the upper soil layers and coastal sea waters, changes in the content and composition of bottom sediments, the rate of sedimentation, the structure of zooplankton and etc. Examples of possible changes in ecosystems are given.
