Abstract: In this Position Paper, we quantify the future demand and reflect on the possibilities (and complications) for producing long term projections for skills demand and supply. We discuss adjustment mechanisms in the economy that can help restore the balance between demand for and supply of skills, and conclude with a number of policy challenges.
