Abstract: Dit onderzoek is verricht op basis van een onderzoeksvoorstel door het Researchcentrum voor Onderwijs en Arbeidsmarkt (ROA) aan het Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap (OCW). Het rapport gaat in op de doelmatigheid van opleidingen in het mbo, zowel wat betreft de schaalgrootte in relatie tot de kostenefficiëntie van opleidingen, als de aansluiting met de regionale arbeidsvraag. De auteurs danken de leden van de begeleidingscommissie van het Project Onderwijs-Arbeidsmarkt (POA) voor hun constructieve commentaar.
