ANALYSIS OF TRENDS IN THE BALANCE OF PAYMENTS IN INDIA

Abstract: This paper examines the trend pattern of balance of payment during the pre and post devaluation period. It is also assess impact of devaluation on balance of payment. This assessment has been carried out using paired sample't' test. The result indicates that there is substantial improvement of balance of payments during the pre- to post-devaluation period.
