How to Influence Cooperation Subtly

Abstract: Cooperation in dilemma games is influenced by a variety of factors. We show that even the timing of unobserved moves has an impact on the level of cooperation. This finding emphasizes the importance of taking subtle effects into consideration to enhance our understanding of behavior in games.
