Abstract:
An analysis of the recent European FTAs reveals important trends in the development of a unified European investment policy, which includes an unprecedented "market liberalization" approach. Facing mounting criticism of international investment law and rising dissatisfaction in EU member states, the future of these new trends may be bleak.
