Abstract:
This paper provides a descriptive analysis of financing the European Green Deal. It is focused on the institutional framework of the European Green Deal, such as the European Investment Plan, which identifies allocations of funds in the EU Member States. The paper covers individual parts of European Just Transition Mechanism and briefly introduces an EU Taxonomy designed to help determine whether an economic activity can be classified as environmentally sustainable and contributing to the environmental objectives.
