Abstract:
Logistics commands a huge variety of dynamic developments, driven by technological, organizational as well as market changes. Within this dynamic environment, logistics management demands a competent and flexible workforce, updated by current training and qualification tools. This research paper is presenting an analysis of current trend and technology topics within logistics and their connection as well as supply with state-of-the-art training tools. Specifically, the trend of gamification in qualification and education is described and applied to the logistics qualification sector. The paper also outlines the basic ideas and concepts for the research and development project MARTINA in Germany.
