Abstract: Iran mit seinem heftig umstrittenen Nuklearprogramm ist derzeit vermutlich der gefährlichste internationale Konfliktherd. Als Vollmitglied im Sicherheitsrat, Nuklearmacht, Nachbar Irans und Lieferant von Atomtechnologie hat Russland sowohl größere Verantwortung als auch einigen Einfluss in Teheran. In manchen Bewertungen kommt Russland sogar eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Lösung des Atomstreits zu. Aber wovon wird Moskaus Verhalten in diesem Konflikt bestimmt? Welche Interessen verfolgt es? Sollte sich Deutschland bemühen, auf Putins Haltung Einfluss zu nehmen? (SWP-aktuell / SWP)
