BSTUT: Stata module providing tutorial on bootstrapping

Stanislav Kolenikov

Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: This package contains the bootstrap tutorial demonstrating the main uses of the bootstrap method with Stata 6. Tutorials are different from ado-files, as they are not automatically looked for and run, so you might get "file bstrap.tut not found" message if you simply type -tutorial bstrap-. In fact, -net get- downloads the files into the CURRENT directory (see help pwd). To run the tutorial, you should either be in the same directory where it is, or you would need to provide the full path to it.
