SIMIRT: Stata module to process data generated by IRT models

Jean-Benoit Hardouin ()

Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: simirt allows creating a new dataset of responses to items simulated by an unidimensional IRT model. The model can be dichotomous (Rasch, OPLM, Birnbaum, 3PLM, 4PLM, 5PAM) or polytomous (Rating Scale Model-RSM). It is possible to simulate two sets of items linked, for each of them, to a specific latent trait (which can be correlated). The Items Characteristic Curves can be drawn.

Language: Stata
Requires: Stata version 8
Keywords: simulation; Rasch model; Birnbaum model; OPLM; ICC; Rating Scale Model (search for similar items in EconPapers)
