FIND: Stata module to find matching strings across files in the current directory
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics
find looks for matching strings across multiple files in the current directory. File names that contain an asterisk are expanded into lists of files following dir. If no files are specified, find looks for matching strings across all files in the current working directory. Depending on your operating system, you may prefer grep (*nix), find or findstr (Windows/DOS), or mdfind (Mac).
Requires: Stata version 8.2

Note: This module should be installed from within Stata by typing "ssc install find". The module is made available under terms of the GPL v3 (https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.txt). Windows users should not attempt to download these files with a web browser.
