IE_RATE: Stata module to conduct age, period, and cohort (APC) analysis of tabular rate data using the intrinsic estimator
Daniel Powers
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics
Abstract:
ie_rate computes coefficients from an APC analysis characterized by a design matrix that is not full rank due to the perfect linear dependence between age, period, and cohort. However, unlike apc_ie, ie_rate does not require strict linear dependence to estimate the APC model.
Language: Stata
Requires: Stata version 10
Keywords: age; period; cohort; tabular rate data (search for similar items in EconPapers)
