EBCT: Stata module to perform entropy reweighting to create balanced samples for continuous treatments

Stefan Tübbicke

Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: ebct estimates Entropy Balancing weights for continuous treatments. The routine minimizes the deviation of weights from uniform or user-specified base weights while adhering to balancing constraints. Estimated weights retain means of covariates and the treatment variable while removing Pearson correlations between covariates and the treatment. Resulting weights can be used for the estimation of dose-response functions.
