TRANSPLOT: Stata module producing plots for trying out transformations
Nicholas Cox
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics
Abstract:
transplot draws plots using one or more transformed versions of supplied numeric variables. One-way and two-way modes are supported. For the one-way mode, a named graphics command to show the distribution of one variable is used to produce a separate plot for each variable and each transformation specified. For the two-way mode, a named graphics command for two variables is used to produce a separate plot for each combination of y variable, x variable and transformation. Separate plots are then combined.
