CQUADR: Stata module to estimate Quadratic Exponential models running the cquad R package

Francesco Bartolucci, Claudia Pigini and Francesco Valentini

Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: cquadr collects Stata routines that allow to execute the R package cquad inside Stata. This package makes use of the Stata module rcall (https://github.com/haghish/rcall) that lets Stata and R to communicate. The R package performs the estimation, based on conditional maximum likelihood, of the quadratic exponential model proposed by Bartolucci and Nigro (2010, 2012) and of a simplified and a modified version of this model.

Language: Stata
Requires: Stata version 12, rcall from Stata Journal 19-1 (not available from SSC), R
Keywords: quadratic exponential; conditional maximum likelihood; dynamic logit; fixed effects (search for similar items in EconPapers)
