STPM3: Stata module to fit flexible parametric survival models

Abstract: stpm3 fits flexible parametric survival models (Royston-Parmar models). The models use spline functions to model the effect of the time scale. stpm3 extends various features available in stpm2. Survival models can be fitted on the log cumulative hazard scale, the log cumulative odds scale, the standard normal deviate (probit) scale. stpm3 can also fit models on the log hazard scale. stpm2 can fit relative survival models. stpm3 has extended functions available, which make fitting non-linear effects and interaction much easier. Post-estimation commands allow various predictions to be obtained. These can be saved to a new frame. The use of extended functions enables simple predictions from complex models involving non-linear effects, interactions and time-dependent effects.
