Abstract:
healthequal calculates a range of summary measures of health inequality using disaggregated data, including the slope index of inequality, the absolute and relative concentration indices, mean difference from mean, mean difference from best-performing subgroup, index of disparity, between-group variance, coefficient of variation, Theil index, mean log deviation, and population attributable risk. Summary measures for ordered dimensions of inequality (e.g., slope index of inequality and concentration index) can also be calculated using individual-level and survey data.
