Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: This package provides tools to access and manipulate data from the Global Macro Database, a comprehensive international macroeconomic dataset that unifies and extends existing resources. The database harmonizes and integrates data from 32 contemporary sources (including IMF, World Bank, and OECD) with historical records from 78 additional datasets, creating comprehensive annual time series for 46 variables across 243 countries.
