LMOMENTSETS: Stata module for L-moment-based measures collected as datasets
Nicholas Cox
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics
Abstract:
lmomentsets computes L-moment-based measures and collects them into datasets. Compare lmoments which is separate. There are two syntaxes. lmomentsets varlist calculates results for one or more variables. lmomentsets varname, over(groupvar) calculates results for one variable varname for each distinct value of groupvar. lmomentsets by default lists its results. Although saving to a permanent dataset is optional, that is the intended key to many useful applications, graphical and otherwise.
