Abstract: lhaversine is a Mata library containing functions to compute geographical distance matrices between locations and matrices indicating which locations are within a given range. The functions take latitudes and longitudes as inputs and use the haversine formula for great-circle distances. Lhaversine is based on geodist written by Robert Picard.
