STACKBAR: Stata module to produce stacked bar charts

Kabira Namit

Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: stackbar creates stacked percentage bar charts (ideally suited for visualization of survey data). The command automatically handles two distinct types of survey questions: single categorical variables (showing percentage distributions within each group with bars totaling 100%) and multiple binary variables (showing independent response rates that are particularly relevant for "select all that apply" questions).
