Abstract: surveycluster calculates the required sample size and number of clusters for single-arm surveys with nested data where the goal is to estimate a population mean with specified precision (margin of error). Unlike clustersampsi which is designed for cluster randomized controlled trials comparing two groups, surveycluster focuses on achieving desired precision for estimating a single population parameter. The command accounts for design effects due to clustering, applies finite population correction when relevant, and reports both the requested and actual margin of error achieved.
