Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Abstract: This package provides functions to standardize Chinese city names and map them to their corresponding provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities, or special administrative regions in Stata. It handles both full city names and common variations, supporting more than 330 prefecture-level cities and above. The command facilitates data cleaning and regional analysis involving Chinese geographic information.
