Abstract:
bayesinits generates randomized, domain-respecting initial values for one or more Markov chains for use with bayesmh's init#() options. It supports unconstrained, positive (log-scale), correlation (Fisher-z), Fisher-z, angular, and simplex parameter domains; returns chain-specific strings in r(init1)...r(initK) plus composite strings r(init_all) and r(init_all_wrap); and provides seed and rngstream controls for reproducible, dispersed starting values across chains.
