BCI Manager

DOS and Windows codes
Abstract:
BCI Data Manager is a Windows 3.1 program that manages the data contained in the U.S. Department of Commerce's BCI and BSDC data files. These files contain all of the data contained in the "blue" and "yellow" pages of the Survey of Current Business, going back to 1945, in the case of BCI data, and 6 years for BSDC data. BCI data files are updated weekly and BSDC files are updated monthly. BCI Data Manager allows you to extract data from these files and save it to a WK1 spreadsheet, an ASCII file, or to the Windows clipboard. Graphs will also be included in WK1 files at the discretion of the user. BCI Data Manager can be configured to work directly with your spreadsheet so that you can launch it or bring it to the top of the desktop at the click of a button. BCI Data Manager also enables you to view graphs of data series, on-line, and scroll through them, as if turning the pages of a book. You can also save graphs directly to the Windows clipboard for pasting instantly into any Windows application. You can also save graphs to disk as WMF files.
