Are financial audit elements and corporate governance policies solutions for the economic crisis?

Abstract:
The implementation of high quality financial audit and the adoption of corporate governance policies are considered to be important factors that can contribute to the economic re-launch after the recent financial crises. It is expected that their existence should have a positive impact upon financial performance. As a fact, the present research underlies the dependencies between financial performance, financial audit and corporate governance elements for the companies that are listed on the Bucharest Stock of Exchange. The results of the research are mixt, showing in fact that the actual solutions are not enough for ensuring the ideas of overcoming upon the financial crisis.
