Abstract:
Institutional relationships between export sales and export shipments of agricultural commodities are discussed. Sales and shipments of corn, wheat and soybeans are estimated . econometrically using quarterly and monthly data. Sales of all three crops increase substantially in the short run in response to unanticipated price increases.
