AGRICULTURAL, RESOURCE, AND ECOLOGICAL ECONOMICS WITH A "MULTIFUNCTIONALITY" PERSPECTIVE

Abstract: This paper provides an overview of use of the multifunctionality perspective in evaluating farming systems and agri-environmental policies. Concepts and applications are presented at three levels: (1) farm level; (2) local or regional level; and (3) national and international level. The paper is intended primarily for multidisciplinary professional and student audiences.
