Inventory Management Strategies for Local Farm Supply Cooperatives

Abstract: This report presents fundamental yet important strategies for farm supply cooperatives to use during the everyday management of the inventory they purchase and carry for sale to patrons. Basic elements and concepts associated with strategies are described within the framework of a management plan. The goal is effective inventory management. This material is intended to provide farm supply cooperative managers and employees with information that will enhance inventory management in their cooperatives.
