Abstract:
The article deals with economic sanctions as an instrument of influence in the trade war in the world market of telecom equipment. The authors examine the probable causes of the sharp confrontation between the United States and China, the leading exporters of this group of goods. Possible consequences of the economic sanctions resulting in various forms of barriers, restrictions and prohibitions on exports and imports are analyzed. The authors note that all countries involved in sanctions will face economic costs, and also emphasize the importance of dialogue between the conflicting parties to retain the economic benefits that could be obtained through trade.
