Abstract: This paper examines whether Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a solution to the dilemma of farmers having to operate economically and sustainably simultaneously. This includes an analysis of changing ecological and economic conditions as well as motives for founding or joining a CSA. The core is an expert interview and a survey of members, which identiô€…­ies problems in the realization of a CSA and provides possible solutions.
